What are your opening hours?
The conference centre is open from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 6.30am until 9.00pm or later by arrangement. Access for organisers can be arranged from 6.15am.
Do you have a waiting area if I arrive early?
Yes, we have a 120 cover café / restaurant that’s open from 7.00am. It’s a great place to meet a friend, hold a meeting or just escape for a while.
Are the organisers allowed to set up the room the night before?
The meeting rooms are cleaned and prepared in the evening. We ask that organisers arrive early to allow for set up. However, if the evening is the only opportunity we can make individual arrangements. On occasion an evening meeting may prevent access.
Is it possible to deliver conference material prior to the day of the event?
By arrangement material can be delivered up to 48 hours before the start of an event and it will be stored securely. The booking office must be informed of the delivery arrangements in advance. Packages must be marked clearly with the name of the event for which they are intended and the organiser’s name. Collection from Woburn House must be made within 24 hours of the event.
Do you have parking?
There is parking at Fresha, but this is reserved for our café / restaurant. We have a secure vehicle parking arrangement with SafeCar Security 200 metres along the road. The car park only has access via a barrier operated by an attendant. Parking is free to all day delegates, but costs £3.00 per day for room hire only delegates. We allow 2 parking spaces on site for organisers and unlimited parking for those with a disabled parking badge.
Do you have hotel accommodation?
Although we do not have our own accommodation there are many hotels in Exeter.
What facilities do you have for the disabled?
The Fresha building is all on ground level. We have two entrances / exits, both with sloping ramps. All of our doors are disabled width. We have a fully equipped disabled toilet close to the conference rooms.
May organisers or delegates bring in their own food?
Fresha has an excellent commercial kitchen on site with a team of chefs making excellent food from the regions best suppliers. We also a 120 cover café restaurant. You can choose from our conference menu or dine in our café. It is not permitted to bring in your own food or caterers.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
We very experienced at providing meals that meet most dietary needs. 48 hours notice is required for final arrangements to be made for your event. For further details contact the bookings office.
How many people do your rooms accommodate?
Our larger room can accommodate up to 40 people auditorium and 30 people classroom style.
Do you have an inclusive delegate rate?
Yes, we have various day delegate packages with no hidden extras. Alternatively you can just hire a room and choose from our range of food and drink options.
What events are your rooms most suitable for?
The conference rooms are mainly used for seminars, training course and conferences.
How flexible are the room lay outs?
There are standard plans for the rooms that show the commonly used furniture arrangements. If you require a different arrangement we will try to accommodate your planned lay-out as long as it complies with current Fire Safety Regulations. Floor plans are drawn to scale and can be sent to you electronically for confirmation of your requirement. The room will be set-up before you arrive but if you require any alteration, or increase in seating, the front of house staff will accommodate your request as long as it is safe to do so.
Do you have a cloakroom?
No, however, we do have a mobile coat rack that can either be kept in the room or locked away in out store room. Items are left at their owner’s risk.
Do your rooms have natural daylight?
Yes, all of our rooms have natural daylight.
Do you have tele – conferencing facilities?
Yes, we do have telephone conferencing facilities. Please contact the Bookings Team for further details.
Do you have Wifi connectivity?
This service is available in all meeting rooms free of charge.
